Luxin Zhang is an interdisciplinary artist who works in Philadelphia, PA. Her work often takes the form of Performance, video, sound and photography. She holds a B.S from Far Eastern University and a MFA in Transmedia at Syracuse University, College of Visual and Performing Arts, where she worked as the Adjunct Faculty and Graduate Teaching Assistant. She recently joined Vox Populi Gallery in Philadelphia, PA as an artist collective.

As a classically trained vocalist, Luxin is fascinated by the intersection of image and sound, acoustic space, and the pulleys and strings that hold everything together. She has exhibited and performed internationally in galleries, museums, concert halls, including “Civil Twilight- Video Screening” at Everson Museum, Syracuse presented by the SU Department of Transmedia, and Urban Video Project; and “North American University Lunar New Year Gala Spring” at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center, New York. Her work was also shown in "The Trouble with Flesh" at Light Work, Syracuse, N.Y.
